David Gilmour "Live in Gdansk"

ロック雑感：プログレってナニ？ 映像 ライブ盤

初めて買ったLPの一つがPink Floydの「狂気」。
深夜のFMラジオを聴いて、ぶっとんだから。
調べてみたら、「狂気」から聴くように、とのお達しがあちこちに書いてあった。
とはいえ、ネットなんてない時代。あるのは音楽雑誌やロック・ディスコグラフィーの類い。
それでもリアル・タイムで聴き始めた時には分裂していたけどね。
初めてリアル・タイムで買ったPink FloydのLPは「鬱」だった。
マニアはあれこれ言ったけど、私は好きだった。
すっと入った。あぁ、Floydだ、と。
で、Roger Watersのソロもすっと入って来た。
同年に発売された"Radio Kaos"。
だから、どちら派でもない。節操がないと言えば、それまで。
どちらのサウンドも名義はなんであれ、好きなものは仕方ない。


David Gilmourのソロ、初期2作はあんまり訴えて来なかったんだけど、"On an Island"には震えた。



そして、これ。
Rick Wrightの訃報が届いてから初めて見る時間が出来て、見始めた。

時間を見つけては、ちまちまとよく見る。
見るたびに泣けてくる。なんて顔をしているんだろう、本当に。

この曲はRick Wrightのソロ"Broken China"から。




あとは、Roger Watersのスタジオ作が聴きたいな。
クリエイティブなところを聴かせて欲しい。Pink Floydの看板を背負った人たちは本当に音楽の力を知っているミュージシャンだと思うから。
